Metal Show & TIB Bucharest

Metal Show & TIB is Romania’s leading international trade fair for metalworking, industrial technologies, and equipment. Since its inception in 1970, it has established itself as a key forum for technological innovation in Eastern Europe. The name combines two strong brands: "Metal Show", a platform for metalworking technologies, and "TIB", short for Târgul Tehnic Internațional, which translates to "International Technical Fair". Since the merger of both formats in 2019, Metal Show & TIB has formed a powerful synergy that brings together companies, professionals, and decision-makers from around the world at the Romexpo Exhibition Center in Bucharest – the country’s largest exhibition venue.

The event is held annually and organized by Romexpo S.A., Romania’s leading trade fair operator. With its broad thematic scope, the fair covers the entire industrial value chain – from metal processing and automation to digitalization and sustainable energy solutions. Key focuses include modern manufacturing technologies, machine tools, robotics, surface treatment, welding technology, Industry 4.0, IoT applications, and energy-efficient, environmentally responsible production methods.

Exhibitors from a wide range of industries present their latest innovations – including sectors such as mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, IT, automotive and shipbuilding, and the aerospace industry. Particular emphasis is placed on resource-efficient manufacturing, renewable energy solutions, and environmentally conscious technologies.
