AYIE (Asia Young Inventors Exhibition) Kuala Lumpur

The Asia Young Inventors Exhibition (AYIE) is an important platform that, since its inception in 2017, has brought together young inventors and innovators from across the ASEAN region to showcase their groundbreaking ideas and projects to a wide audience. This annual event takes place at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in the heart of Malaysia's capital, one of Asia's most modern and esteemed exhibition and conference centers.

As part of the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition (ITEX), organized by C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company with over 20 years of experience in organizing trade fairs and conferences, AYIE provides a significant stage for the exchange of innovations and technological developments. Notably, the event is open to both industry professionals and the general public, promoting interaction between young inventors, startups, established companies, and investors.

The focus areas of AYIE cover a wide range of forward-thinking topics that reflect the creative solutions of young innovators. These include, among others, educational technologies, environmental technologies, media technologies, robotics, sustainability, IT solutions, smart devices, agricultural technologies, and recycling technologies. These themes not only address current global challenges but also highlight the desire of young people to create sustainable and technologically advanced solutions through their inventions.

In addition to showcasing innovative inventions, AYIE offers numerous side events that promote knowledge exchange and networking among participants. A highlight is the Invention & Design Competition, where young inventors present their projects in a competition setting and can gain recognition. Other events during the exhibition include Pitch4Fund, where inventors can present their ideas to potential investors, and Tech Talks, led by industry experts discussing the latest technological developments. Workshops, such as the STEM AI Workshop, also introduce young people to the world of artificial intelligence and the natural sciences.
